U.S. Special Operations Command (Army) careers

1 verified opening

U.S. Army Special Operations Command is the headquarters over the units most people know by shorthand: Special Forces under 1st Special Forces Command, the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, the psychological operations groups, the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade, and the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School that trains them. The command works from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and behind the operational units sits a support structure of its own, the 528th Sustainment Brigade, a flight company, contracting, and the staff directorates that keep the force running.

Medical work here is training, and the command owns the center of it: the Special Warfare Medical Group (Airborne), inside USASOC's John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, runs the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center, the central training facility for Department of Defense special operations combat medics.
