Moberly Area Community College was founded in 1927 by citizens of Moberly who wanted more education options for their town's students. Nearly a century later it covers 16 counties of northeast Missouri, with campuses in Moberly, Hannibal, Kirksville, Mexico, and Columbia plus online instruction, and more than 40 areas of study running from four month certificates to two year degrees. For an employer, that's a distributed operation: faculty and staff spread across five towns, teaching everything on the community college spectrum for a large rural region.
MACC's health programs need licensed professionals at the front of the classroom; instructor and program staff roles are the college's healthcare hiring.
